Accommodation
KCC sleeps 94 and the total complex is under one roof. There are 10 bunk rooms with total of 80 beds (8 with 10 beds each, and 2 rooms with bunks - double on bottom and single on top) There is a single bedroom with double bed and adjacent connecting toilet, bath and shower. These rooms have been completely refurbished as of August 2020.
Kitchen and Wash Room
We have a fully equipped commercial kitchen with:
- Two thermowave ovens and a large stove top
- 2 good sized toasters, as well as a gluten free toaster
- Two hot water zips, one in the Kitchen and one in the Hall
- Large chiller for meat, milk, vegetables, etc.
- A deep freeze
- Commercial potato peeler
- Ample supply of pots, baking dishes, trays, food containers etc.
- Crockery and cutlery for up to 100 people.
- A commercial dishwasher.
Note: All breakages charged at replacement costs.
Dining Hall
At KCC we have one Dining room/ Hall, suitable for seating approx 100 people for meals, and running indoor games in wet weather or evenings. This room has been refurbished as August 2020.
Upstairs Lounge
Our Upstairs Lounge/Chapel is suitable for holding meetings, watching movies (we have a projector and chrome cast) or running indoor activities.
Ablution Blocks
We have 2 main ablution blocks, each with 3 showers, 6 basins, and flush toilets. These blocks have now been completely refurbished to sparkling new!The single room off the kitchen also has a toilet/ shower/ bath attached.
K-Lodge
We have a four-bedroom lodge that has 11 beds (one double). K-Lodge has a basic house kitchen including an oven, a large fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, jug, pots, crockery and cutlery. The dining room seats 8 people comfortably and includes a fireplace for those cold winter nights whilst playing cards etc. The lounge in K-Lodge has a nice rural outlook from the window and with comfortable seating it proves a nice space to sit and relax when the opportunity arises. There is also a T.V. and DVD player, books and DVDs to watch and read. We have one wheel-chair accessible bathroom with appropriate toilet, sink and shower facilities. There is also another single toilet as well as a single shower room. K-Lodge comes with its own private outdoor area to sit and soak in the sun.
